Partner Profile - Linkedin

LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, plays a crucial role in driving hiring success for Workable customers. By integrating their cutting-edge AI solutions with Workable’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS), LinkedIn has been instrumental in helping companies find and connect with top talent efficiently.

Anand Vora, who leads the Workable partnership at LinkedIn, shares his thoughts on the evolving talent acquisition space, the impact of AI, and how LinkedIn remains at the forefront of recruitment innovation.

Let’s dive into the interview to learn more about how LinkedIn is shaping the future of work.

1. Hi Anand! Welcome to this month’s Partner Profile. Could you introduce yourself with a brief bio?

Hi! My name is Anand Vora, and I manage the Workable partnership at LinkedIn.

I’m part of the Business Development team within LinkedIn Talent Solutions, where I oversee partnerships for a few integrations we have developed to better connect Applicant Tracking Systems with LinkedIn Recruiter and Jobs – ultimately helping LinkedIn execute against our vision of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.

Over the course of my career I’ve enjoyed building relationships, using data to tell meaningful stories, and scaling new experiences. Oh, and I’ve had some fun along the way, too :)

2. As an integrated partner of Workable, Linkedin is a key contributor of new candidates for Workable customers. How has Linkedin been able to differentiate themselves from other job boards over the years?

LinkedIn isn’t just the world’s largest professional network—it’s a global community of over 1 billion members. What sets us apart is our unique insights, which you won’t find anywhere else.

Our AI solutions are powered by a real-time snapshot of people, networks, and knowledge driving today’s economy. With 40,000 standardized skills, over a billion career profiles, and 14 million job opportunities, we are strategically positioned to connect talent with opportunity and drive the future of work.

But we’re not stopping there. We’re continually innovating and investing in new LinkedIn Hiring Integrations to ensure that LinkedIn Recruiter and Jobs seamlessly connect with the ATS systems our customers rely on every day.

Our latest addition, the Apply Connect integration with our ATS partners, like Workable, is designed to streamline the application process and increase the number of qualified applicants by up to 3x.

3. What are some general trends you all are noticing in the Talent Acquisition/Recruiting Landscape?

In our latest Future of Recruiting report, we surveyed thousands of recruiting professionals, spoke with top talent leaders, and analyzed billions of LinkedIn data points – here’s the 6 predictions:

  1. AI will supercharge recruiting. When we asked talent leaders to predict some of the biggest trends that will influence TA in the coming year, many had the same answer: Generative AI.
  2. Recruiting will help build the skills-based workforce of the future. 73% of recruiters say hiring based on skills is a priority in 2024.
  3. Quality of hire will top the recruiting agenda. With hiring around the world still in decline, employers will be increasingly vigilant about making sure every hire is the right one.
  4. Agility will be a must-have for recruiting teams. 91% of recruiting pros say they are focused on being agile to adapt to shifting hiring needs.
  5. Recruiting teams will advocate for flex work policies. Companies enforcing full RTO report negative impacts on their recruiting efforts, including reduced talent pools, fewer applicants, and increased competition.
  6. Attracting Gen Z will require a new playbook. Gen Z will account for more than a quarter of the global workforce by 2025, but recruiters aren’t confident about their ability to attract and retain this newest cohort.

4. Now is your chance to brag about what’s on the horizon for Linkedin. Any exciting product developments our readers should be aware of?
