With the Enterprise plan, we’ve rebuilt reporting and access controls from the ground up. The goal was straightforward: give TA leaders, HR teams, and executives the depth they need to make confident decisions, without requiring BI tools, consultants, or a dedicated ops resource to maintain it.

What’s changing

Workable’s reporting capabilities are already available across Standard and Premier plans, including 25+ pre-built reports, advanced filtering, saved reports, and scheduled delivery. The Enterprise plan takes that foundation further with three new capabilities:

  • Custom report builder: Design reports from scratch using a drag-and-drop interface. Choose your data source, select fields and filters, add groupings, and visualize results as charts, tables, metrics, or pivot views. Save them, share them, come back to them.
  • Custom dashboards: Compose purpose-built dashboards from widgets like charts, tables, and KPIs. Give recruiters a daily task view. Give TA leaders a funnel health snapshot. Give executives board-ready KPIs. Each role sees what matters to them.
  • Advanced permission sets: Layer custom permissions onto existing roles to define exactly what someone can do and see. Create a Finance-only view, a Regional Admin role, or a Hiring Manager who can approve offers but not see salary data. All self-serve for admins, no IT tickets required.

How it works

The custom report builder is designed to be used by anyone – no technical skills or training needed. Start by choosing a data source (candidates, jobs, offers, employees, and more). Then select the fields you want to see, apply filters, and choose a visualization. You can save your report and share it with colleagues, and each viewer will only see the data their permissions allow.

Dashboards work the same way. Pick a set of widgets – charts, tables, single-metric KPIs – and arrange them into a view that matches the role. Recruiters might want pipeline activity and upcoming interviews. Executives might want headcount attainment and time-to-fill trends. The point is that each stakeholder gets a view that’s relevant to them, updated in real time.

Permission sets build on the existing role structure (Admin, Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and so on) by adding layers of control. Instead of starting from scratch, you take an existing role and extend or restrict specific capabilities. Need Finance to see budget data but not candidate details? Done. Need a Regional Admin scoped to one office? Done. Changes apply immediately and are fully auditable.
