We’ve enhanced Performance Reviews in Workable, introducing built-in performance review meetings directly within the review cycle. Now you can ensure that every written review is followed by a structured conversation, without leaving Workable.
What’s changing
Currently, Workable enables you to:
- Run structured performance review cycles with customizable templates.
- Collect feedback in one centralized system.
- Track progress and completion across teams.
With this release, you can now also:
- Schedule a dedicated performance review meeting as part of the review cycle.
- Make the meeting step optional or mandatory (with signing blocked until completed, if required).
- Set a deadline for completed meetings to keep cycles on track.
- Sync meetings with Google Calendar or Microsoft Teams.
- Create meeting events in Zoom through Workable
- Send automatic notifications and allow participants to accept or decline.
- Capture post-meeting notes from both manager and employee in separate fields, visible to the HR team.
This turns performance reviews from a static document into a structured, trackable conversation.
How it works
We’ve designed performance review meetings to feel like a natural extension of your review workflow.
Configure during cycle setup
When creating a review cycle, enable the performance review meeting step (on by default). You can set it as optional or mandatory and define a meeting completion deadline.
Complete meeting before signing
After a manager shares a review, they’re prompted to book the meeting before moving to the signing step. If the meeting is mandatory, signing is blocked until the meeting is completed.
Connect your calendar
If calendar integration is enabled, managers can check availability, add a Teams or Google meet link, and sync changes automatically.
Meet and document
Once the meeting takes place, both manager and employee can add notes in dedicated sections. Notes are shared between participants and visible to HR, creating a complete record tied to the review cycle.
Behind the scenes, HR admins gain visibility into which meetings are booked, overdue, or completed, ensuring accountability across the organization.
