We are looking for a Shop Foreman to join our team and oversee the management and maintenance of equipment and personnel in our facilities. 

Shop Foreman responsibilities include enforcing safety regulations and supervising how staff are trained throughout the year. 

Ultimately, you will work directly with our staff and employees to ensure they provide exceptional customer service and follow all regulations as required by our organization. 

Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety regulations and protocols
  • Conduct performance reviews with staff
  • Meet with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies
  • Implement strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly operated and maintained
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks such as updating and filing equipment orders, stock receipts, and staff schedules

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Shop Foreman or similar role
  • A great understanding of work optimization techniques
  • Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Shop Foreman
