We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team and assist our residents with their daily tasks, along with other duties to ensure residents have a safe and enjoyable living environment while staying with our organization. 

Resident Assistant responsibilities include assisting residents with the transition to their new living environment and responding to complaints or emergencies. 

Ultimately, you will work directly with residents to ensure they have a safe and productive living environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with the transition to university and residence hall life
  • Enforce university and residence hall rules and regulations
  • Remain available to residents while on-call
  • Assist in supervising residents and responding to complaints, reports, requests, and emergencies
  • Submit reports on infractions, violations, and safety issues
  • Promote residence hall events

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Resident Assistant or similar role
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and public speaking abilities
  • Proven organization and logistical skills
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Resident Assistant
