We are looking for a Game Warden to join our team and help protect our wilderness areas.

Game Warden responsibilities include issuing hunting and fishing licenses and participating in backcountry search and rescue operations. 

Ultimately, you will work alone in various wilderness areas to help protect wildlife and provide backup to law enforcement as needed. 

Responsibilities

  • Patrol assigned regions
  • Coordinate and oversee educational programs for the public
  • Assist wildlife management efforts
  • Partner with other law enforcement agencies
  • Conduct search and rescue operations
  • Write incident reports and testify in court
  • Collect and catalog evidence for ongoing investigations

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Game Warden or similar role
  • Must have no felony convictions
  • Must have no misdemeanor domestic violence or sexual abuse convictions
  • A clean driving history
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Game Warden
